At WAC, we are thrilled to share the incredible success of our recent Family Fishing Fun Day at the picturesque Magpie Lake and Dodd’s Water. This event, held on 29th June, brought together over 20 visitors of all ages, creating the perfect environment for families and friends to enjoy a day of fishing and fun.
The Event: A Resounding Success
Our Open Day was nothing short of a triumph. Blessed with sunny weather, attendees enjoyed a day filled with fishing activities, expert advice, and plenty of camaraderie. From seasoned anglers to curious beginners, everyone found something to enjoy.
Highlights of the Day
Great Attendance: We were delighted to welcome more than 20 visitors, receiving positive feedback from all who attended.
Amazing Catches: Anglers had a fantastic day, with carp weighing over 10lb caught on Magpie Lake and good catches of the silver fish on Dodd’s Water.
Expert Coaching: Attendees received valuable coaching on casting skills and bait usage, ensuring everyone had the best chance to make a great catch.
